How to find beauty, art and emotions in your wedding photo album

Are you considering a stunning wedding in Rome with a destination photographer? Do you want to know your wedding photographer Rome? There is no place in the world with as incredible history and the most glorious and luminous traditions as Rome. Rome was the capital of civilization for many centuries, long before the arrival of the Middle Ages. In Rome, every street and every monument recalls the eternal immensity of the city; everything breathes art, culture and history.

As an Italian wedding photographer, it will be a pleasure for me to follow you among the artistic beauties of Rome and to take a natural and creative portrait of you two: it will be a unique mix of Italian art, history and lifestyle, combined with my photographic technique and with the many emotions that will arise on the wedding day.

The history of Rome has always echoed over the centuries and experiencing this atmosphere during your event will be an incredible added value because every place and every monument in the capital tells us about the ancient splendor of this masterpiece city. Rome is a large cosmopolitan city with an artistic, architectural and cultural history that has influenced the world and dates back almost 3000 years.

Ancient ruins such as the Forum and the Colosseum testify to the power of the ancient Roman Empire. In Vatican City, the seat of the Catholic Church, there are St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museums, which house masterpieces such as the Sistine Chapel frescoed by Michelangelo. And the list could be endless. Will you ever get married in a place with such an important history?

WHY IS ROME CALLED THE “ETERNAL CITY”?

Throughout history, several cities have had the title of Eternal City, for example, Jerusalem or Kyoto. Still, Rome is the first and the only one to have kept it for over two millennia.
The credit goes to Albio Tibullo (55 ca.-19-18 BC), a Latin poet who today few know but who at the time was a well-known author of erotic poems. This is the first reference to the Eternal City or at least the oldest of which traces have come down to us. Over time, many have reused the epithet, contributing to his fame.

Would you like to have some information about the foundation of Rome? I’ll settle you immediately with great pleasure. According to tradition, Rome was founded in 753 BC. by Romulus. A series of wars and conquests led in 27 BC. to the foundation of the Roman Empire. In 395 AC that vast Empire was divided into two parts: the Western Roman Empire, which ended in 476, and the Eastern one, which lasted until 1453.

Rome returned to being the center of the world during the Renaissance, i.e., between the forties of the 1400s and the first half of the 1500s, becoming a forge of talents such as Michelangelo and Raffaello through the patronage of the Roman Church, which also assumed temporal power. In Rome, it is natural to devote yourself to museums and archaeological sites, but the city also offers other things to do. A good idea could be a horse ride: one of the unmissable itineraries (even on foot) is the one on the Appia Antica, which allows you to immerse yourself in nature and simultaneously discover the archaeological wonders scattered along the way.

Alternatively, you can take a tourist boat and take a trip on the Tiber; even in this case, there are more itineraries from the mouth of the Tiber to Ostia Antica.
A walk in Villa Borghese, 80 hectares of nature, monuments and various cultural cues, may be worth the trip. And the famous shopping along the streets of the “Dolce Vita“? It will be easy for you to wander around the traditional Campo de’ Fiori market or the glamor of “via dei Condotti” and “via del Corso“.
