The Best Wedding Venues in Lake Como

The most evocative locations for your special day

Probably it all depends on the happy combination of mountains, flowering parks and dense forests. Or it depends on the delightful houses and crotti with pergolas.

Certainly, for centuries Lake Como has never ceased to seduce those who love luxury and beauty, art and tranquility.

The Lake Como area is a perfect location to spend the most beautiful day of your life, the perfect wedding!

Lake Como

You can dream of the best for your heartfelt day. An enchanting view of the lake and splendid villas and lush gardens at your disposal. To live and remember your special dream.

Villa del Balbianello

Villa del Balbianello

Villa del Balbianello is a historic building located in Lenno, on the shores of Lake Como. A unique scenario, so loved by tourists from all over the world.

The elegant and romantic Villa del Balbianello (18th century residence) sits on a peninsula from which you can enjoy enchanting views of the Lario. It is surrounded by a wonderful garden which has hosted writers and travellers. The beauty and wonder of Balbianello, which can also be accessed via the lake, were the key that pushed many Hollywood directors to set famous sagas here.

There is no point in hiding my admiration for this extraordinary construction: it is a spectacular location which, as a wedding photographer on Lake Como, I recommend to all stylish newlyweds who want the best for their special day.

Villa Balbiano

Villa Balbiano is the result of numerous renovations carried out on a 15th century building devastated by a flood. Rightly used as a venue for luxury events, in 2021 it was used for the filming of the film “House of Gucci” by the well-known director Ridley Scott.

The main building is a small jewel that directly overlooks the shores of the lake and is characterized by an Italian garden from which to enjoy an astonishing breathtaking view.

The interior spaces are furnished with art objects and period furniture that convey a timeless glamorous charm to the Villa. The construction is completed by 6 suites, meticulously cared for in every detail, for wealthy guests from all over the world. You will then be able to book these magnificent rooms to organize the preparation of your wedding as befits a couple who wants to relive the royal fairy tale.

I will be happy to be your wedding photographer in this wonderful ancient residence on Lake Como.

Villa Pizzo

Villa Pizzo

Villa Pizzo is a noble and fascinating 17th century residence built on the promontory of the gulf
of Cernobbio.

Entirely visible only from the lake and known for its refinement, as well as the breathtaking view, the Villa is also an ideal location for exclusive and elegant weddings and photo shoots.

Let yourself be enchanted by so much beauty to organize your event. You will leave your guests breathless.

As a wedding photographer in Lake Como, I will be happy to take you on a magical journey for your wedding with my photos using the unparalleled backdrop of this structure.

Inside the property you can walk along a characteristic avenue of cypresses. At the highest point of the English garden, behind the villa, is the mausoleum of the Volpi Bassani, in the shape of a Romanesque baptistery.

Villa Sola Cabiati

Villa Sola Busca (also known as Villa Sola Cabiati) is a stunning historic residence in Tremezzo, on Lake Como, Italy.

The villa was built in the early eighteenth century by will of the Duchess del Carretto. The villa is surrounded by a large Italian garden. From the lake, access to the villa is via an elegant landing stage (designed in 1813 by Francesco Bernardino Ferrari), followed by a refined wrought iron gate supported by pillars depicting mythological subjects and large sculpted stone vases.

From the terraces of the villa it is possible to admire the majestic profiles of the Grigne, magical mountains that shine pink in the summer sunset. You can also observe the noble villas scattered along the banks, which lead like a precious thread to the pearl of the lake, Bellagio. The view is lost in the reflections of light and sky on the water. And this is also why the magic of Lake Como has been written about for centuries. How wonderful would it be to celebrate your special day here? If you love my photographic approach, I can be your wedding photographer.

Villa d'Este

Villa d'Este

Villa d’Este, originally Villa del Garrovo, is a Renaissance patrician residence located on the shores of Lake Como near Cernobbio. Both the villa and the 10-hectare park that surrounds it have been substantially modified compared to the building originally intended as a summer residence for Cardinal Tolomeo Gallio.

Since 1873, the complex has been used as a luxury hotel. It is part of the most beautiful historic venues in Italy.

Villa d’Este is certainly considered one of the most beautiful works of architectural art of the sixteenth century. In its large halls you can admire fascinating works of art, including some from the French school, others from the school of Canova, as well as decorations by Andrea Appiani. The magnificent gardens surrounding Villa d’Este are one of the most harmonious and evocative examples of baroque scenography in Lombardy and in the whole of Italy.

The result is a majestic and perfect location for a luxurious and exclusive event.

Everything has Beauty, but not everyone sees it.
